On the morning of March 11, 2022, at Protrade International Industrial Park – An Tay commune, ILD Coffee Group held the groundbreaking ceremony to build ILD Coffee Vietnam factory. Attending were Ms. Tran Thi Thao – Vice Chairwoman of the Town People’s Committee.
The factory was built on an area of more than 40,000m2, located on Street 11 of Protrade International Industrial Park. The plant is expected to be put into operation in September 2023. Vietnam is the world’s number one exporter of Robusta coffee, but more than 85% of it exports raw, so the value is not high.
In that context, the birth of the ILD coffee factory (cold-dried instant coffee factory) in Binh Duong province will be a huge push for the deep-processed coffee industry in Vietnam, contributing to the realization of the goal. export target of 30% of deep-processed coffee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; at the same time, contributing to the sustainable development of the value of Vietnamese coffee, especially in the post-Covid-19 period, when Vietnam in particular and the world in general are gradually recovering and developing the economy.
